Ignite! is working in collaboration with Creative Partnerships on a three year programme to promote creative approaches to the learning and teaching of STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths). The programme, called Ignition*, includes residential STEM Fluency Labs (5 days, 4 nights: 20th-24th November) for primary and secondary teachers, designed to transform their capacities for creativity across their subject specialisms.

Twenty teachers from the region will work with expert practitioners from a wide range of fields (STEM and the arts). We pay schools for cover (£250), and a fee for the teachers taking part (£250). All costs for the lab including expenses are covered by Ignite!.
